Welcome to FE²nominal: Where Phenomenal Women Are Forged

By K. Renee Sullivan ·

“As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.” — Proverbs 27:17 (NLT)

This space was never meant to be a stage. Instead, it was intentionally meant to feel more like an intimate retreat—perfect for the kind of conversations that you could have with women who actually see you.

There’s also an ideal kind of woman this space is built for.

Not the one just hunting for another trendy quote to post, but that one right there—whose phone stays buzzing, whose calendar stays full, whose heart stays heavy, and STILL somehow keeps showing up.

If you’ve ever thought, “I’m tired, but I can’t quit,” You’re in the right place.

You Are Our Why

This space is for women who:

Hold it together for everybody else, most days.

Hold it together for everybody else, most days.

Have learned how to keep going even when no one fully knows the weight you carry.

Have learned how to keep going even when no one fully knows the weight you carry.

Have walked through loss, transition, and disappointment, and still care deeply about people.

Love God, but don’t always feel safe being honest about how much it hurts sometimes.

Love God, but don’t always feel safe being honest about how much it hurts sometimes.

We are:

Veterans who’ve seen more than we can explain.

Teachers and coaches who pour out until we’re empty.

Mothers, aunties, spiritual moms, and big sisters who carry generations in our prayers.

Widows and wives who know what it is to love deeply and grieve deeply.

Leaders in churches, schools, businesses, and neighborhoods who are faithful and often overlooked.

If you’ve ever thought, “I’m strong… but sometimes I wish someone would be strong for me,” This space has your name on it.

I Am Her Too

My name is K. Renee. I’m a U.S. Army veteran, educator, instructional coach, ministry leader, widow, wife, and mother— but honestly, before any of that, I’m a woman who has had to rebuild more than once.

I’ve graded papers with swollen eyes. I’ve gone from a funeral to a meeting I’ve carried a smile into rooms I didn’t feel strong enough to stand in.

So when I say, “I see you,” it’s not from a distance. It’s because in so many ways, I am you.

I’m not here as the woman who has it all figured out. I’m here as the woman who is still saying yes, still healing, still learning how to carry what God has given me without losing myself in the process.

I don’t come to you as a finished product, but as a woman who is still being forged in fire and sharpened by many who are wiser.

A Safe Place to Be Vulnerable

We know that many places claim to love Christ and His Word, but then their daily actions do not reflect His character. We know what it feels like to sit in a room where Scripture is used as a shield instead of creating a safe place as the Author intended.

Here, we do it differently.

We believe:

Boundaries are biblical—you’re allowed to say “no” and still be considered loving.

Boundaries are biblical—you’re allowed to say “no” and still be considered loving.

Emotional health matters, especially for women who lead and serve.

Emotional health matters, especially for women who lead and serve.

We will open and read the Word, but we won’t swing it at you.

We will open and read the Word, but we won’t swing it at you.

We’ll talk about real things:

The nights you cried on the bathroom floor.

The nights you cried on the bathroom floor.

The anger you didn’t know what to do with.

The anger you didn’t know what to do with.

The guilt you carried for being tired.

The guilt you carried for being tired.

And we’ll let the Holy Spirit work in gentle ways— like a deep breath, not a beating. Scripture is a foundation, not a weapon.

Healing is holy—we don’t have to choose between God and therapy, prayer and processing. We do not weaponize the Bible against each others wounds; instead we intend to bring it alongside throughout our healing process.

Faith Forged in Fire

Healing requires more than surface level encouragement. It demands the kind of faith that has to keep showing up in practical ways in our day to day lives.

It looks like loving God beyond emotion—choosing Him daily, even when your feelings are inconsistent. “If you love me, keep my commandments” (John 14:15, NKJV) is not about perfection, it’s about alignment. It’s about building a relationship with Him that doesn’t disappear when life gets difficult.

It looks like leading your family with both strength and wisdom. You can walk fully in your calling and still honor God’s design for headship in your home. Those things are not in conflict. Leadership and order were never meant to compete—they were meant to work together. You are not expected to shrink to make that happen. You are called to be rooted and to walk it out with discernment.

It looks like staying watchful and prayerful in a world that moves fast and pulls constantly. “Watch and pray…” (Matthew 26:41, NKJV) isn’t just instruction—it’s protection. Being watchful means paying attention to what’s happening in you and around you. Prayer is how you stay anchored when everything else tries to pull you off course.

And it looks like standing in faith—not in a loud or performative way, but in a steady one. “Stand firm in the faith…” (1 Corinthians 16:13, BSB). Faith doesn’t mean everything feels easy. It means you don’t walk away when it doesn’t.

I’ve seen what happens when strong women carry everything alone. I’ve also seen what happens when they are given space to grow, to heal, and to be sharpened—without being judged or dismissed.

That’s why this space exists.

Here, your story won’t be ignored, but it also won’t be the place where you can stay for too long. Your pain won’t be wasted, but it won’t be the thing that defines you either. You will be met with both truth and care, because both are needed.

Real faith is not pretending you’re fine; it is refusing to let go of God while you heal!

If you are ready to be forged—not just affirmed—grab a chair, and take your place in The Square.² This is where phenomenal women are sharpened!
